and beyond
Private guided alpine climbing on remote peaks and ridgelines around Squamish and across British Columbia.
Discover Squamish's
Hidden Alpine Terrain
Yes, alpine climbing exists around Squamish, and it’s seriously underrated. These are big days that mix hiking, scrambling, and technical climbing in a truly wild setting. Think remote granite peaks, airy ridgelines, and the kind of solitude you just don’t get at the crag.
Popular Alpine Climbs:
Sky Pilot Mountain - Classic Squamish alpine objective with scrambling and steep snow or rock
North Ridge of Mt Tricouni - A hidden gem with big terrain and beautiful granite
Tantalus Range Mountaineering - Heli access climbing trips for more experienced climbers
Blackcomb Buttress - Alpine climbing via gondola and gentle alpine strolls, like climbing in the French Alps
Mount Garibaldi - Big glaciated terrain and steep snow and ice overlooking the Squamish Valley
Alpine Trips Beyond Squamish
Want to go bigger? I also guide custom trips to some of Canada’s most iconic alpine regions:
The Bugaboos - World Famous alpine rock climbing
Mt. Slesse - Multi-day, complex, big-mountain rock climbing
Canadian Rockies - Long alpine rock routes, mixed climbs, and classic North Faces
International Destinations - Available on a custom basis. Let's dream big.
Why Go Alpine?
Because it’s real. It’s raw. It’s what climbing is all about: big terrain, self-reliance, and the joy of being far from everything but the moment. Whether it’s the Squamish backcountry or the dramatic peaks of the Rockies, alpine climbing challenges you in the best possible way.
Ready for the Alpine?
If you're dreaming of an alpine objective - local or international - get in touch and let's talk. We’ll plan something that fits your goals, experience level, and appetite for adventure.
Let’s go get it.
